One of the four 2027s on this past season’s 5A Division 1 Ridge View team, Robinson was also part of the winning formula for first-year Blazers coach Aaron Lucas that propelled Ridge View to that 15-8 record and that runner-up region finish. Robinson would wear a Ridge View uniform on 22 occasions this past season and would average seven points and just over a steal per game. She possesses even more experience than the typical 2027 considering she has played at the varsity level since she was a seventh grader. At one point during the season, Robinson secured an in-state offer from Columbia College.

Joliyah is a solid fundamental guard that does whatever is asked of her by her coach. She will come in and run the point guard position and set all of her teammates in the correct positions to succeed. The other thing she can do if her team needs it is knock down shots. Consistent three-point shooter that also has a solid mid-range game. Has two college scholarships offers currently.

Speaking of 2027 guards representing 5A Division 1 schools whose primary color is purple, Robinson has been a familiar name to many a Palmetto State high school hoops aficionado given her days at 3A Orangeburg-Wilkinson. There are guards that are consistent playmakers and there are backcourt players whose speed and quickness are an important element of their playmaking capabilities. Robinson is the latter. That speed and quickness enables her to slice through defenses and find lanes to the rim. A Palmetto 76ers/A’ja Wilson Elite prospect also showcases her versatility with her ability to play at the wing. Ridge View has been contenders as of late and the Blazers hope to continue that success with former 4A Lower Richland coach Aaron Lucas assuming the helm at Hardscrabble Road. Robinson was part of Team Leath this past weekend in Florence.

Joliyah is the go-to player for the Bruinettes and Head Coach Cedrick Simpson. Joliyah can create her scoring opportunities if it comes to slashing to the bucket, dropping floaters or pulling up for a jumper. She will need to score the rock this season to help O-W win basketball games.
Joliyah plays with plenty of confidence and really likes the rock in her hands at all times.
