Florida Top 250 Expo Preview : Tough to Defend

What makes these ballers players in this article so tough to defend? For some it is their versatility and their ability to score and put pressure on a defense in so many ways. For others, they put the defense in a bind with their high basketball IQ. They understand situations and as a result are usually a step ahead . If there ever was a player tough to defend, it's Deleon. She can shoot the three off of the catch or off of the dribble. If you try and take the three away, she can drive pass you and get to the rim and score. Deleon has a lot of tools in her bag, including the stop and pop, the dribble and pull up, and scoring in transition. She can also score through contact, etc. Deleon looks to be one of the top players at the Expo. Green has speed and the old adage that "speed kills" rings true with Green. She can get down hill in a hurry. If you back up quickly, she can stop and pop the midrange. If you sag on defense to prevent the drive Green can knock down the long jumper. She was special this travel season, utilizing all of these skills in Louisville, Orlando, and in Wesley Chapel. She was a tough player to defend then, and will be a tough assignment at the Expo. I have seen Hill at a few showcases and last year she was one of the top performers at one of the events.. She can drive the ball, handle it and score. She shot it well from the three point line and also got to the rim with some nice drives. Scibelli puts pressure on a defense because of her ability to take what the defense gives. She is also a leader on the court with a high basketball IQ. Her passion for the game inspires others on the court. She is versatile and very cerebral on the court. She can beat an opponent with the three, the midrange and even with the passing game. She is a triple threat and that makes her tough to defend. Norman is primed for a great season, but first she is ready to shine at the 250 Expo.
