These ladies bring offense, defense and everything in between to their new respective teams in hopes of an ultra-successful season culminating in a state (perhaps even national) title.
Stella Lockhart Stella Lockhart 6'1" | CG St. John Vianney | 2026 State NJ | 6’0″ CG | Gill St. Bernard’s –> St. John Vianney
One of the best sophomores in the state, Kennedy left a lasting impression on Garden State hoops in her debut season with the Knights. 106 points and 64 rebounds in 17 games was just the beginning of something special. This summer with her Gemz EYBL squad, she took the Nike circuit by storm and solidified her position as one of the most exciting 2026’s in the nation. A Nike Nationals 15U title (First Team selection), a Jam Fest ‘chip in her home state, a title at Clash of the Clubs in Dallas (Platinum), etc. The list just goes on and on for one of the summer’s most sensational stock risers. She joins a stacked Vianney squad that looks to add yet another Non-Public A state title to their long list of accolades under Coach Karpell.
Daniella Matus Daniella Matus 5'10" | CG St. John Vianney | 2025 State NJ | 5’10” CG | Morris Catholic –> St. John Vianney
Alongside fellow transfer Stella Lockhart Stella Lockhart 6'1" | CG St. John Vianney | 2026 State NJ , Daniella looks to add even more firepower to the Lancers’ back court. A 3-point sniper, she wreaked havoc in her first two seasons with Morris Catholic, knocking down an astounding 153 3-pointers; spot-up, catch and shoot, step-back, you name it! What turned out to be her final game with the Crusaders in the State Champions Invitational, Daniella put the nation with her hot shooting & offensive efficiency against P5-loaded Desert Vista (AZ), who boasts one of the best defenses in all of high school ball. At SJV, Coach Dawn Karpell is well-known for developing perimeter players and maximizing their potential, and there’s no doubt Daniella will only get better under her watch. I know, you’re thinking “better???” …Scary, right?!
Madison Miller Madison Miller 6'3" | C Morris Catholic | 2024 State NJ | 6’3″ C | Pope John –> Morris Catholic
There was simply no stopping Madi this summer with her travel squad. I can’t count how many times I was approached/contacted by college coaches in regards to her dynamic skill set! Not only does she command the paint, but she can stretch the floor and knock down the long ball with ease. In three seasons with Pope John, she delivered sensational performance after sensational performance. High efficiency under the rim, monstrous rebounding and supreme paint protection, amassing 593 points, 504 rebounds and 90 blocks in the process. In the last four months, Madi has emerged as a scoring threat from just about everywhere, exuding confidence every time she laces up. With Mia and Mya commanding the back court, a phenomenal incoming freshman class and a front court partner-in-crime in Alexis Rosenfeld Alexis Rosenfeld 6'2" | C Morris Catholic | 2024 State NJ , this season may be one for the books for Morris Catholic as they look to defend their Non-Public B title and get another crack at the State Champions Invitational.
Priyanka Ponnam Priyanka Ponnam 6'3" | SF Blair | 2026 State NJ | 6’3″ F | George School (PA) –> Blair
Given a 90 rating by ESPN and on the cusp of a national ranking, Priyanka heads into the 2023-2024 season with extreme confidence as she crosses state borders and joins a new team in the Blair Bucs, reclassifying as a 2026. Having already racked up offers from schools such as Boston College, Rutgers, Arizona and Ohio State (among many others), Priyanka is ready for new beginnings in the Garden State with a more of the same dominance she’s always put on display. She gives the Bucs a menacing front court presence and will use her dominant post moves and elite rebounding to wear down and deflate defenders. Last season as a freshman, Kennedy put everyone on notice with her terrific two-way game after amassing 241 points, 98 rebounds, 66 assists and 80 steals, proving that she is equal parts scorer and facilitator. She is downright electric with a motor that never quits! Look for extraordinary high-low action between Kennedy & Madison this season!
