Continue ReadingSunkins will be one to monitor in the coming years. Sunkins is fearless driving to the basket and has nice finishing ability around the basket. Likes to clean up on the glass for second chance buckets and always seems to be there at the right time. She is an athletic and physical forward that can shoot it from beyond the arc. She has good IQ with finding passing lanes and making the right cut to the basket.
Barr-Buday had a great summer and is ready to take the step in her development for her upcoming senior season. She is a physical two-forward coupled with her blossoming stretch ability on the perimeter. High motor forward that has some handle and can score in a multitude of ways in the paint. Good footwork in the post, and uses her physicality well to create seperation or bulldoze her way to the basket. If she doesn’t have an easy pathway to score, she has good IQ to find open teammates on kick outs. She is a confident and efficient shooter with unorthodox shooting mechanics and low release that could be adjusted.
This is a follow up from a previous report. Nelson is one of my favorite prospects in her class. I watched some more film on her game in preparation for the upcoming season. She has a quiet confidence about her game that you love and leads by example. Nelson is a pure hooper, and dynamic floor general with great feel for the game. Shoots the ball with a high level of confidence anywhere on the court. She is just as dynamic in the paint attacking and finishing around the basket with no fear. She can create her own shot from anywhere and always makes the right play to an open teammate. She has a razzle dazzle about her game that is fun to watch and makes a lot of difficult shots look real easy. She has great control and handle of the ball and can blow right past you in second if she has open lane. Nelson is oozing potential and she has all the tools to be special and a game that mimics Curry and Ionescu.
