I enjoy scouting events in this format because I get to see players that I don’t get to see play very often or have not seen at all. It’s a great way to get my eye’s on the “hidden gems” and the ones who have improved since the last time I watched them compete.
Below I have highlighted the prospects that stood out to me during this event.
Brooklyn Cornett
Brooklyn Cornett
Brooklyn Cornett was one of the 2026 prospects that really stood out to me. She has good size and length for a wing player and competes hard on both ends. Cornett showed she can score form all 3-levels on offense and did a good job playing the passing lanes and coming up with steals on defense.
Highlights
Jeannae Bolin Jeannae Bolin 5'10" | C Pleasure Ridge Park | 2024 State KY looked like the best player on the floor in each game I watched her play. She was relentless on the boards, grabbing every rebound and capitalizing off of put-back buckets. Bolin also blocked a ton of shots on defense and was very consistent making shots from the mid-range on offense.
If like 3 and D type players then Natalya Pitts Natalya Pitts 5'5" | PG Moore | 2026 State KY is the prospect for you. She is a hard-nosed, scrappy defender that likes to apply immense pressure on ball handlers. Pitts is a deadly three-point shooter as well that can really knock them down from behind the arc.
Chloe Crase
Chloe Crase
Chloe Crase is a high IQ player with great instincts. She seemed to always be in the right place at the right time. Crase hustled hard the entire game, making an impact on both ends on the floor. She was very active on the boards as well getting rebounds and going right back up with it.
Highlights
Kiera Whitaker Kiera Whitaker 5'10" | SF Carlisle County | 2024 State KY didn’t score the most points in the game I watched her play, but she competed hard the whole time and brought a lot of energy when she was on the floor. Whitaker was disruptive on defense and made a good effort to rebound the ball.
