I really enjoyed watching the players that I don’t typically get to see throughout the season, as well as seeing improvements from the players that I do get to watch a lot. I got to watch the first three games on court 2 before finishing out the day on court 1. Unfortunately, I only got to watch majority of the teams play one time, but I’m glad I at least got to get a glimpse of everyone that was in attendance. Throughout the day, I took down notes on what I was seeing from each player at the event. Below you will see the notes I got from team 3 at the Top 250 Expo.
Skylar Collinsworth Skylar Collinsworth 5'4" | CG Madison Central | 2026 State KY (#231)
Plays so hard and love her hustle. Solid ball handler who wasn’t letting pressure bother her. Knocked down shots from deep range. Single-handedly went on some big scoring runs, hitting jumpers and finishing at the basket.
Kristen Whited Kristen Whited 5'5" | SG Pikeville | 2024 State KY (#232)
Made great moves to get past defenders. Can get to the rim or create for teammates but made great decisions on when to score herself versus when to kick. Handles are very solid. Great change of speeds. Knocks down shots consistently. Good defender. Really good player overall.
Katie Hendricks (#282)
Stayed very solid with the ball even when being pressured. Showed she has deep range and good form on her shot. Competed hard defensively and wasn’t giving up anything easy. Fundamentally sound.
Abby Walker (#285)
Recognized and made good cuts to the basket. Knocked down shots. Had some great floaters in the paint and did a great job turning the corner to get a step on defenders.
Nora Kate Simpson Nora Kate Simpson 5'6" | PG Nelson County | 2026 State KY (#287)
Followed shots and crashed the boards very well. Made great strong drives to the basket. Not afraid of contact and love the aggression she was playing with. Also played with a ton of heart and worked hard every second she was on the court.
Kiera Whitaker Kiera Whitaker 5'10" | SF Carlisle County | 2024 State KY (#309)
Right after she came into the game, she showed how big of an impact she makes by following her shot, grabbing a rebound, and immediately making a great assist inside. Very athletic and smooth. Saw and ran the floor well. Finished at the rim well and knocked down shots. 3 level scoring threat. Just a very solid and reliable player overall.
Rowan Radaszewski Rowan Radaszewski 5'11" | SF Breckinridge County | 2026 State KY (#311)
Great length. Comfortable posting inside but can also extend out to the perimeter where she handles the ball well. Lefty has great form on her shot and can knock down shots quickly. Also has a high release that keeps the defense from getting their hands on the ball. Had some good blocks defensively. Grabbed quite a few rebounds. Showed she’s going to put a lot of people on notice this season.
Alyssa Fox Alyssa Fox 5'7" | SG Pleasure Ridge Park | 2024 State KY (#318)
Excellent quick release from 3. Extreme range on her shot. So solid with the ball – wasn’t forcing, made good fakes that got defenders off their feet, saw the floor well, found the openings, etc. Facilitated well and loved how vocal she was on the bench. Really have never not walked away impressed by her game after watching her play and think she’s going to put up huge numbers this HS season. Whoever lands her at the next level will be getting a steal.
