Emmarie Barger Emmarie Barger 5'9" | CG Eisenhower | 2027 State KS , PG/SG, Eisenhower, 2027 – This will be my first time watching Barger but a look at some game highlights from December 2022 shows her to be a multiple threat with the ability to create off the bounce from the point, shoot the rock in the mid-range and beyond the arc, and finish with athleticism. She ran this summer with Kansas Bluejays and is likely to have a strong shot at playing at the varsity level, especially as a floater, during her freshman campaign.
Makynlee Jensen Makynlee Jensen 6'0" | C Maize | 2027 State KS , 6’0″, C. Maize, 2027 – Jensen has played a high school season plus full of games this summer with Kansas Bluejays and promises to be an impact player for the program. She has great overall size and transitioning ability that will enable her to get to spots before defenders do, using her strength and athletic ability to score in a variety of ways.
Aubrey Loman Aubrey Loman 5'2" | CG Wichita Northwest | 2027 State KS , 5’1″, CG, Wichita Northwest, 2027 – Another Kansas Bluejays prospect, she has put in a full high school season plus pile of games this season to get herself into position to impact a very young and athletic Grizzlies program.
Dru Zeka, SG, Wellington, 2027 – With the bulk of the Crusaders’ top lineup returning for the 2024 season I do not anticipate Zeka to emerge on the varsity roster. With the seasoning she received playing for Kansas United this past summer I expect this to be a opportunity for her to size up opponents she will see this coming season at the sub-varsity level.
