Ella Clark (2030) court vision in the set as well as in transition stood out off the top. She’s heady and made good decisions handling the ball but she also set the defender up to attack the basket using a deceptive first step, to score or dish. Her defense was solid in the set, she also understands positioning and rebounded against taller players
Jada Holmes (2029) is an athletic guard who understands how to use her athleticism on both ends of the court. Her “on the ball” defense baseline to baseline immediately stood out yet she also attacked the basket strongly from multiple angles. Her body control is nice and it helped her finish after contact but she also does a good job of creating her shot as well as knocking it down while being defended
Makenzie Jackson (2029) is “long and athletic” which is and will always be the base and this is a profile I love to evaluate but more importantly, so do many college coaches and they offer next-level opportunities. Her intangibles start with her UPS as she elevates to not only rebound on both ends but to block shots, she alters and deflects them as well yet watching her handle the ball and go coast to coast and score, while being defended spoke volumes. Her change of pace in transition as well as in the set was very nice, she showed the pull-up and scored around the basket but her “on the ball” defense was also a huge plus
Aaliyah Square (2028) was yet another athletic guard who showed she could apply heat on both ends. Her defense was solid in the set as well as in the full-court, she has good body control after attacking the basket powerfully, which helped her finish strongly after contact. Her court vision was solid both in the set as well as off the dribble
Maleah Mason (2030) had #D1Lock dropped on her a few years ago by me so I’m just watching her “on the court progression” because I know where this is heading. She’s gotten stronger and her range is deeper but I’m enjoying how she’s not only setting the defending up but getting her shot off using the slight HEZ as well as the STUTTA but she’s elevating on her jumper and attacking with either hand to score or dish
Gracie Galvan (2029) came out applying heat on the defensive end off the top but watching her the past 2 or 3 years has told me a lot about what’s coming. She’s heady, plays within herself, and gets hers in the flow however she can flip the switch in the blink of an eye and score multiple ways. She showed she could also be a facilitator and set teammates up for good looks but watching her play the passing lane had me smiling
Layla Washington (2030) scored off the dribble and showed solid body control on her finishes but she also saw the floor while attacking the basket and her pinpoint passes going full speed were nice. Her court vision was also solid in the set, she’s patient and made good decisions but her defense in the set stood out, and so did her on the ball pressure baseline to baseline
Gigi Reddinger Gigi Reddinger 5'11" | C Seabrook Intermediate | 2028 TX (2028) continues to show the progression on the court and watching her rebounding on both ends as well as running the floor, on both ends was nice. Her interior defense has gotten better yet just importantly her stepping outside to defend is better. She also scored around the basket but showed she could handle the ball and attack from the wing
