Continue ReadingYou didn’t think we were done after just one article talking about the best shooters in South Jersey, did you? We would never slight you of more content and the ability to talk about more players because wow, what a cast of talent there is in the Garden State, especially in the southern region of the country. Here’s a list of more top shooters to watch out for this season.
Katherine Lange Katherine Lange 5'11" | SG Gloucester Catholic | 2025 NJ – Gloucester Catholic (2025)
It’s only been one season of varsity basketball at Gloucester Catholic so far for Lange, but she impressed tremendously as a sophomore, knocking down 48 three-pointers in 26 games, roughly 1.8 threes a game, which accounted for around 65 percent of her scoring. She might be a more under-the-radar pick, but if last season was any indication, then she’s got a high ceiling.
Talia Battavio Talia Battavio 5'7" | SG Woodstown | 2025 State NJ – Woodstown (2025)
Battavio was one of a few leaders for Woodstown last season, and one of a few sharp-shooters as well. She hit 48 threes in 26 games, now at 74 for her career in 53 total games. 100 career three-pointers is well in sight, and she won’t be the only Wolverine to hit the mark next season. Perimeter shooting has helped her overall performance and production tremendously over the last two seasons.
Megan Donelson Megan Donelson 5'6" | CG Woodstown | 2025 State NJ – Woodstown (2025)
Speaking of Woodstown teammates, Donelson is that player, a fellow Class of 2025 prospect with 89 made threes through her first two high school seasons in 55 career games played. Knocking down an average of just over 1.6 three-pointers a game, Donelson has been one of the most complete offensive players in the Tri-County Conference and that will only continue with time.
Dacia Mack Dacia Mack 5'7" | PG Highland | 2024 State NJ – Highland (2024)
Mack has slowly, but surely worked her way up the list of shooters in South Jersey, having hit 69 in her career so far with a career-high 30 threes as a junior with Highland. She’s hitting them at a clip of over one a game and as her offensive totals have grown, so has her shooting. We expect her to eclipse the 100 three-pointer milestone as a senior, along with career-highs across the board.
Alivia Mauz Alivia Mauz 5'7" | PG Williamstown | 2025 State NJ – Williamstown (2025)
Mauz is no stranger to the 100 three-pointer club, having reached the mark by her sophomore season with Williamstown. That puts her right on pace to cross 200 by the end of her senior year, but her game stretches past her stellar perimeter shooting, averaging 3.5 assists a game and 3.9 steals per game over her high school career. However, nearly hitting two threes a game isn’t too bad either.
Ana Pellecchia Ana Pellecchia 5'9" | SG Clearview | 2024 State NJ – Clearview (2024)
Consistency is the name of the game with Pellecchia, a member of the 100 three-pointer club, 1000 point club, 200 assist club and 200 steal club with Clearview. The lefty has been a reliable shooter through her first three high school seasons, knocking down just over two three-pointers a game overall. She looks to make a run at 200 3s, sitting 64 away to begin the season.
