One of the best players to come through South Jersey in recent memory, Mauz had a stellar career for Williamstown. She averaged nearly 23 points per game this winter. She led the Braves to a road playoff victory over Gloucester Tech in the opening round of the playoffs, and 29 in a quarterfinal loss to Lenape. In that game, the West Chester commit set the Williamstown High School all-time scoring record, finishing her career with 1,931 points.

She is the exact definition of an “X-Factor.” It was a very challenging (to say the least) task to guard Mauz for Shawnee as the Renegades fell to Williamstown, 42-39, behind the senior’s staggering 34 points. She ran the offense nearly alone on Friday, shooting from all angles. She hit six three-pointers, including the game-winning basket on the Braves’ final offensive possession.
