Weiss was active in transition, getting into position early for layups. Certainly a capable ball handler, the guard handles pressure well, keeping the ball shielded with her eyes up for a passing lane.
Kimora Banks-Thomas Kimora Banks-Thomas 5'7" | SG Highlands Ranch | 2026 CO – TBD – 2028
Banks-Thomas brought high energy throughout the event, especially active in transition situations. The guard brought flash at times, faking out opponents in transition for no-look dimes. Banks-Thomas was equally effective passing to cutting teammates, setting them up with easy looks at the basket. She was not afraid to get physical, diving for loose balls whenever the opportunity presented itself. She will be an intriguing backcourt prospect to follow over the next few years, given her ability to create opportunities inside the paint.
Grace Stanley – Legend – 2025
Stanley brought high IQ to the table, notably effective as a facilitator. The guard possesses a tight handle, especially effective getting deep into the paint before kicking it out to a wide open shooter. Her willingness to push the pace in transition was valuable, active getting coast to coast or tossing a deep outlet pass.
Rose Pacheco Rose Pacheco 5'7" | CG Niwot | 2025 State CO – Niwot – 2025
Pacheco was an assertive ball handler, often seeking out driving lanes to put the defense into pressure. The guard was quick to pressure her opponent, attacking quickly off the catch or letting a three pointer fly.
Ava Gavi Ava Gavi 5'6" | SG Legend | 2025 State CO – Legend – 2025
Gavi was a willing shooter who brought a high energy level on both ends. Active deflecting passes around the perimeter, she kept consistent off-ball positioning complemented with quick hands. The guard contributed on a few steals throughout the day, largely due to her willingness to jump passing lanes. Opposing defenses will need to respect Gavi’s floor spacing ability, effective with her quick jumper on spot-ups, regardless of an incoming contest. Gavi’s point of attack defense cannot be overlooked either, possessing quick hands stealing away the ball on crossovers.
Taylin Wade – Cheyenne Central (WY) – 2025
Wade brought energy in the paint, effectively crashing the defensive glass and being a consistent help defender. The guard had no trouble being physical with opponents, embracing contact however possible.
Kendra Ritzmann Kendra Ritzmann 5'11" | SF Pomona | 2024 State CO – Pomona – 2024
Ritzmann was among the most consistent passers at this event, effectively finding cutters through tight windows all morning. Her quick processing speeds made her a valuable two-way option. Ritzmann was also effective, showcasing her versatility on defense, capable slowing down opponents at the point of attack or helping early to stunt drives around the rim. Another aspect of Ritzmann’s impact came on the glass, proving effective at grabbing offensive rebounds, typically passing it out to reset the possession.
Jacie Bunck Jacie Bunck 5'11" | SG Liberty | 2024 State CO – Liberty – 2024Bunck did well showcasing her versatile offensive impact, effective facilitating and putting the ball in the basket. The forward was a knockdown shooter from beyond the arc, capable on spot-ups or while stepping into the shot. While handling the rock inside the arc, Bunck did well attracting a second defender and kicking it out to shotmakers. Defensively, she is strong in the paint, capable taking hits while maintaining legal position without fouling.
