Top 250 Expo Team 3 Evaluations

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Girls Hoops Missouri continues its team evaluations from Saturday's Top 250 Expo with a look at the members of Team 3.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='424774' first='Hannah' last='Fenton'] (Pattonville): The 5'5" 2025 point guard was really cooking on offense as both a playmaker and a scoring threat. She was distributing the ball well in the half court offense, especially in the pick and roll, and dropping some nice dimes in the transition game. She was also getting smooth buckets from all three levels. She used her speed to score on quick penetrating drives and she also shot a very good percentage from 3-point range during the day.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='509644' first='Kennedy' last='Horton'] (Pattonville): The 6'1" 2025 forward was providing matchup problems as she displayed her excellent skills on the perimeter. She was facing up defenders and beating them off the dribble on straight line drives or with a nice cross-over move to get into the lane. She also drained the perimeter jumper with a nice high release. She ran the court well and did an excellent job rebounding the ball and blocking shots.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='254696' first='Chanelle' last='Anderson'] (Barstow): A 5'6" 2024 point guard who was very unselfish with her ability to pass the ball. Her court vision was excellent and she did a good job of advancing the ball upcourt with the pass to start the break. She has good quickness and strength, which she used to get downhill on the drive to score. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='415885' first='Brooke' last='Blankenship'] (St Pius X): The 6'1" 2026 forward from Jefferson County had an excellent showing at the event. She has a very good post game and she didn't mind playing physical in the paint. She has a nice shooting touch inside with either hand. She was also stepping out on the perimeter and attacking on the drive with a quick first step. That is a nice addition to her game. She is a mobile player on got out on several rim-runs.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='773864' first='Josie' last='Grunzinger'] (Parkway West): A 5'9" 2025 wing player who displayed a solid all-around offensive game. She moved well and she was shooting the ball well from 3-point range. She also attacked the close out with a number of nice moves off the dribble to score on either a layup or the short jumper. She also made a lot of good second-effort plays on the boards. She was also capable of scoring around the basket.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ja'Riya Johnson (Lutheran St Charles): A 5'5" 2025 guard who was difficult to stop when she started to get downhill on the drive. With her speed and physical strength, she was getting into the lane and scoring through contact. She can also pull up with the stop and pop from 15 feet or with the step back jumper with her one-handed delivery that is very effective. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='493365' first='Mia' last='Cuneio'] (Eureka): A 5'6" 2026 point guard who handled the ball well and had a good feel for the game. She was good against pressure defense as she did a nice job of splitting the double team a few times to get herself out of trouble. She always kept her head up to locate the open teammate. She was also very good on the defensive end as she used her active hands to get deflections and strips for turnovers.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='431491' first='Claire' last='Mueller'] (Nerinx Hall): A 6'2" 2026 forward who has an old-school back to the basket post game that was very effective. She utilized her size very well to establish position and get buckets in the low post. She kept the ball high off catch and finished well off the glass. She also ran the court well and got a few offensive rebounds and putbacks in transition. She also screened well and scored on a few slips as she caught the ball on the move and finished.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='773865' first='Kiersten' last='Powell'] (Marquette): A 5'8" 2024 guard who is a very active player with or without the ball in her hands. She handles the ball well and she keeps it moving well on the pass. She was also having success when she was attacking the basket on the drive. She can also knock down the open 3-pointer. She was also getting to loose balls and rebounding well with her high level of energy.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
