Kiarra Orphelia Kiarra Orphelia 5'5" | PG Monteverde | 2025 State FL really shined in the Top Expo event and was a candidate for the MVP for the event. Orphelia was impressive with quickness, speed, and athleticism. In areas where a defender was one-on-one against Orphelia, she had the ability to make a move and get past the defender. She consistently pulled away from defenders even with the ball in her hands. She got into the paint anytime she wanted to and in transition, she routinely took the ball all the way to the rim. Orphelia saw the court very well and did a great job of advancing the ball with the forward pass and also passing to the shooter for open shots. Orphelia had no issues scoring the ball. She scored from every area of the court and finished with the left and right around the rim. She had a nice stroke in the midrange area and could also connect from behind the three-point line. Despite being smaller than many on the court, Orphelia’s superior athleticism allowed her to be dominant on the court. She stood out at the Expo.
Nina Green Nina Green 5'6" | PG Wharton | 2024 State FL was as impressive as anyone at the event. Green displayed a lot of skills at the event. Green did a good job of handling the ball running the point and playing off the ball at the two position.
Her offensive game was on point at the Expo. She knocked down several threes early and that set up her midrange game beautifully. Green got in the paint and knocked down threes all day long. Her ability to stop on a dime allowed her to get off shots while the defender was still retreating. Green was one of the top offensive players at the event. ay long. Asya Jones used the Expo to show other aspects of her game. Playing with two ball-dominant guards Jones went into shooting guard mode and played primarily on the perimeter.
Jones shot three ball well – very well. Jones had a few shots under the rim. Historically, she has been a slasher with a very good understanding of how to get baskets. has impeccable timing when on the wing and can get to an open spot and score on the inside. Jones played well and adapted to the skilled players around her. She knows the ball will need to be in her hands during the upcoming season. She averaged 17 per game last year.
Olivia Chapman Olivia Chapman 5'8" | SG Oviedo | 2026 State FL shot the ball well at the Top 250 Expo and from every area on the court. Chapman connected on three-pointers, midrange shots, and drives to the basket.
played well off of Green, Orphelia, and Jayah Jones. As these guards drew attention from help-side defense, Chapman was getting to the open spot and letting it fly. Chapman could also made plays off the dribble as well. She has a strong build and can play through contact. During the Expo, she got to the rim, ripped to the midrange, and did damage on the offense all day long.
Jayah Jones Jayah Jones 5'6" | PG Gulfbreeze | 2024 State FL showed a lot of versatility on the floor. The guard has very good handles and was most comfortable when the ball was in her hands.
did a good job of driving and kicking the ball to the open player. If the lane was open she could also get to the rim. She also did a good job of playing safety on the back end and preventing easy fast breaks.
Kyra Jackson Kyra Jackson 5'7" | SG Ed White | 2026 State FL had a good showing at the Expo. She has good height and is very athletic. She showed versatility as a player with the ability to score on the inside as well as on the outside. Jackson ran the floor well and had some nice plays in transition.
Jackson was also impressive on the defensive end. She is able to defend on the perimeter with quick hands, quick feet, and a lot of athleticism.
Josie Harshbarger Josie Harshbarger 5'9" | SG Oviedo | 2025 State FL had some good moments at the Expo but got lost a little playing with some of the older players. Harshbarger has great length and can shoot the three, she can handle the ball, and call also make plays on the floor. She had a nice coast-to-coast drive and dish for the three-pointer. She is athletic and runs the floor well.
Sophia Landen Sophia Landen 5'8" | SG Clearwater Central Catholic | 2026 FL had some nice plays at the Expo.
She did a good job of moving without the ball and getting buckets from back door cuts and running the floor in transition. Defensively, she made a conscious effort to defend the full length of the court.
