The guard contributed to easy offensive possessions through her acute defensive reactions, deflecting passes and slowing down opponents at the point of attack. She was especially active in transition, getting out on the break quickly following rebounds and steals.

Ligia Thortvedt Ligia Thortvedt 5'9" | PF Denver East | 2025 State CO – Denver East – 2025
Thortvedt possesses quick reaction speeds on the defensive end, asserting herself as a helper more often than not. She proved effective guarding up against opposing post threats, taking bumps while maintaining a proactive position versus her opponent. Should opponents attempt to wall off driving lanes, Thortvedt kept her head up, awaiting the right opportunity for a passing lane to a cutter.
Ryker Thomas Ryker Thomas 5'8" | CG Mullen | 2025 State CO – Mullen – 2025

She contributed on a few left handed layups, fairly balanced opportunities from self-created attempts and off-ball movement. Although effective at leveraging her abilities around the paint, Loveland was effective around the perimeter, knocking down a few threes off the catch. Another aspect of Loveland’s impact came from defensive rebounds, finding a body and hustling into position.
Mason Borcherding Mason Borcherding 6'1" | PF Legend | 2025 State CO – Legend – 2025
