The high motor forward is constantly moving while away from the ball, always looking to assert herself on the glass. Her willingness to hustle for second chance opportunities or secure a defensive box out played a vital role in Denver East’s success on the glass. Boasting a young and fairly tall group next season at Denver East, Thortvedt will provide extra energy each possession. Another underrated area of her game are her physical screens, actively slowing down opposing perimeter defenders from sticking to their opponent. Thortvedt landed in the Top-25 for rebounds per game, in large part from her constant motor on either end.

A particularly valuable defensive prospect, Thortvedt is quick laterally along with valuable defensive instincts to maximize her speed. The forward matches up with a wide variety of opponents, bringing a unique blend of lateral quickness and unrelenting motor on that end of the floor. Her clear impact as a two-way rebounder cannot be overlooked either, ranking 9th among all 6A prospects in the rebounding category.

or “LT” as many call her, has been a player that has turned heads over the past year. She is an undersized big that gets busy in the post no matter who is guarding her. What she lacks in size she makes up for in toughness. One Ligia was able to showcase that we hadn’t seen much was her ability to shoot the 15-footer with some consistency making her even more of a tough cover.
