2024 NEPSAC Players The Last Dance

Here we look at 5 seniors in the NEPSAC trying to make the most of their final high school season. [player_tooltip player_id='184017' first='Janae' last='Gomes'], Winchendon, HT 5'8, PG Janae is a south paw floor general. She has a high IQ, and a high motor. She likes to get her teammates involved, but she is also a three level scorer. She has a bunch of good finishing moves for a Guard, such as her floater or step through. She can also hit the mid range jumper or shoot outside the arc. Last year Janae averaged nearly 10 points a game, 5 assists and 4 rebounds. She has a number of division 1 offers including the college of Charlestown. It's only a matter of time before the decision happens. [player_tooltip player_id='269250' first='Cameron' last='Rust'], HT 6'1, Wing/Forward, Worcester Academy Rust is a nationally ranked player in her class. She averaged 14 points, and 8 rebounds a game last season on a high level Worcester Academy team. She is able to take over the game from the inside and out. She can defend the post or on the perimeter. She is athletic, and very mobile for her size. She can knock down three's, get to the rim and post up. Rust is a high major division 1 committed player, and should do well at that level. [player_tooltip player_id='407561' first='Ellie' last='Pingree'], ST Paul's, HT 6'1, Forward Ellie averaged a double double last season with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Ellies combination of size, skill, and versatility makes her a division 1 college player. She is 6'1 and is just as effective on the outside or in the post. She had games last season where she took over with her scoring. She is tough to defend with her knock down shooting abilities, and her abilities to take it off the dribble. [player_tooltip player_id='446541' first='Brennan' last='Doran'], Kent, Center, HT 6'2, Doran is a good post player, that also shot over 50 percent from three point range. Doran is a for sure division 1 prospect in my view. She can run the floor in transition, and has a good touch around the rim with both hands. She is a high percentage player from the field. Last season she averaged 18 points, and 8 rebounds. It should be a big senior season for Doran. [player_tooltip player_id='409323' first='Madison' last='Hart'], Sacred Heart Greenwich, HT 5'6, PG Madison is the Heart and soul of the Sacred Heart team. She is a excellent leader and communicator. She has the tools you want in your teams Point Guard. She is pass first, and she had over 100 assist last season. She also had a very impressive assist to turnover ratio. Madison is a high energy defender, and one stat I love is she took 13 charges last season. Madison is committed to a high level division 3 program in Babson college.
