Jenkins comes in from across the border in Georgia to play for the Lady Yellow Jackets. Montana made quite an impression back earlier this fall at the Prep Girls Hoops op 250 Expo in North Charleston. Montana has a good feel for the game and really understands on how to play at all levels. She takes pride in defense and really swarming the ball. Montana can make open shots on the floor and never seems to rush her shot.
Young will be accounted on heavily this season for Lady Warriors and Head Coach Kevin King to score the ball. Skylar brings to the floor a good outside shooting presence. Young understands on how to receive the ball in the pocket and let it fly. She shoots the ball at a good percentage clip. Skylar will stretch the defense with her ability to dial in from downtown behind the three-point line.
Smith lost several teammates to departures and should see plenty of playing time this season for the Lady Braves this season. She played quite well back earlier this fall at the Prep Girls Top 250 Expo. Briana surely plays the game with a lot of confidence and a bit swagger at times. She will bring some havoc at times on the defensive end of the floor. She certainly doesn’t look to take plays off and plays every possession to the fullest.
Hanks is back at Oceanside Collegiate with her twin sister Josie Hanks Josie Hanks 5’7″ | CG Oceanside Collegiate Academy | 2026 State SC . Henley plays her best basketball off the ball. She can keep the defense honest with her ability to knockdown shots from behind the arc. Henley is a spot up shooter for the Lady Landsharks.
Highlights
Lawrence saw plenty of action at the Class 5A level a season ago. Lachar plays at Cane Bay HS in Summerville. She averaged 7.5 ppg and 3.9 rebounds this past season. Lachar ran on the Grassroots Circuit with the Charleston Raptors . Lawrence will look to be the building block here for the Lady Cobras in the years to come.
