(in the middle) was in the building amongst some talented Seniors and there might have been a camera crew and a crowd of journalists following her as she navigated around the room. The needle certainly moved when Knauff stopped by to talk to Prep Girl Hoops. Knauff was in the running for player of the year as a Freshman and her encore performance last year was equally impressive. Knauff has that quiet confidence and she is ready to get the season underway. I have circled the Bolles vs Bishop Kenny game on the schedule and will be camping out the night before if I have to.

represented Oakleaf at Media Day and this is Brown’s team now that James and Turner have gone on to play in college. Brown was built to be a captain and her calm, but confident demeanor supports that claim. She is just as confident on the court. Brown can shoot the three and also get to the paint for her patented midrange jumper.

were in the building and after getting their names right in my mind, we were able to see what the folks at Providence were so excited about. The Janai and Janie show is for real and is going to give a lot of teams some problems this upcoming season. I saw the two over the summer on their respective teams and I couldn’t wait to see them back together. Their entrance into the room was enough for me. They were confident and weren’t afraid to reveal their expectations for the season: have a special season, win their District, and get into the playoffs and make some noise. They have the tools to get it done. Jordan has the all-around game and can beat you off the dribble, off the catch, behind the arc, and in the paint. She can score on all levels and has a lot of tools in her bag. Boyd is a long-range shooter who can shoot it from anywhere on the court and make plays to get her teammates involved.

were present on Media Day and these young players were part of one of the top stories at Medica Day. Ed White is loaded with talent. Their frontcourt will be big, athletic, and young and McCloud will lead the way. McCloud can shoot the short midrange and can control the paint on defense. Williams is an up-and-coming baller on the First Coast who can score in transition and play good on-ball defense.
Victoria Noble

was at Media Day and was representing Flemings Island. Noble is one of the top shooters in Clay County and on the First Coast. Noble will take more of a leadership role this upcoming season. She is a leader on and off the court. Noble played well last season and she and fellow guard

Lavin Savage Lavin Savage SG Impact Christian Academy | 2025 State FL was present at Media Day and now playing at Impact Christian Academy. Savage has made huge strides and will be the leader of the team. Savage can get to the rim and also does a good job of dishing to open teammates.
