The Prep Girls Hoops Missouri Freshman Showcase was held on Saturday at The Principia School in St. Louis. There was a talented group of players that participated in this showcase event, including several who will emerge as college prospects at all levels. There were a number of talented forwards and post players on hand. Here is a look at five of those frontcourt players who were GameChangers at the Prep Girls Hoops Missouri Freshman Showcase.

Dasia Scott (Principia): The 6'2" forward displayed how she can dominate the action in a variety of ways with her versatile skill set. When she set up shop in the low post, she showcased her physical strength to overpower defenders and her footwork to beat them with finesse moves. Whether it was a drop step or a turnaround jumper, she could score at will. She also grabbed her share of offensive rebounds to get putbacks. She was just as effective on the perimeter as she would grab rebounds and lead the break, ending in either a coast to coast layup or a nice transition dime to a running teammate for a layup. She also stepped out and hit a number of 3-pointers. Earlier in the week, she received an offer from Mississippi State.

[player_tooltip player_id='631765' first='Ava' last='Pratt'] (St Michael the Archangel): The 6'0" small forward from the Kansas City area was a big matchup problem with her height and ability to operate on the perimeter. When defenders tried to push up and pressure her on the ball, she would beat them with a straight-line drive to the basket. She is also creative with the ball as she has a nice spin move in traffic to escape defenders. She shot the ball well from the perimeter as she hit a number of Trail 3-pointers on the break. She is also very effective at scoring the ball with either hand. Her versatility also extends to the defensive end as she can guard multiple positions with her athleticism and tenacity.

[player_tooltip player_id='777632' first='Stella' last='Shumate'] (Pembroke Hill): A 6'1" post player from the Kansas City area who plays the classic back to the basket game in the paint very effectively. I liked how she could seal defenders and establish her position in the low post. Her presence inside was very commanding as she could catch the ball and score on a nice drop step. She also did a good job of getting out on the break and scoring on some nice rim-runs. She was very stout on the defensive end as she used her positioning very well to deny spots for the people that she was guarding.

Olivia Luebbering (Helias): A 6'3" forward from the Mid-Missouri area who has a very bright future. She is a very mobile player inside who did a nice job of setting the screen and slipping to the basket and making the catch to complete the layup in a fluid motion. When she catches the ball in the post, she keeps it high and finishes well off the glass. She can also pass the ball well out of the post when she was faced with a double team, which was quite often. She ran the court well and picked up a few layups on the break. She was also a presence on defense with her length as she was able to block and challenge shots.

[player_tooltip player_id='777617' first='Hadley' last='Gravatt'] (Liberty): The 6'0" small forward from the Kansas City area was one of the most versatile players at the event. She was very active on the defensive end as she played the passing lanes well and used her instincts to be in the right spots at all times. She was able to get out on the perimeter to block a few 3-pointers, which showed her range. She could also guard in the post with her height. She has a nice offensive skill set as she can be a playmaker with her passing and ball handling skills. She also displayed 3-point shooting range as she hit the Corner 3 off the catch and the stop and pop jumper on the move.
