I was able to attend the event on the final day, Sunday Oct. 8 and I focused on the CA teams only. Here’s a quick look at some of the standouts I saw.
1.
Armanyie Reed

Bishop Montgomery | 2027

– Bishop Montogomery 2027
Reed is a point guard that plays with a demeanor that makes her seem older than she is. Pushes the pace in transition; quick guard with good playmaking ability on the break hitting teammates with on target passes. Utilizes screens well and shoots it consistently with space. Attacks the paint and can kick the ball out to open teammates.
2. Addie Deal – Mater Dei 2025
Deal is a big guard that can play as a number one ball-handler and facilitator. Very good vision in the halfcourt. She handles the ball well, dribbles under control against defensive pressure and can attack the defense off the dribble. Strong slashing game allowed her to get to the basket consistently.
3. Aliyahna ‘Puff’ Morris – Etiwanda 2025
Morris is a strong point guard who can find the proper balance between being a facilitator and being a scoring threat. She’s quick on the break and can accelerate downhill; looks up while dribbling and kicks the ball ahead. Able to use her strength to muscle past the defense to the basket. Solid pull-up jumper in the halfcourt.
4.
Karsen Marshall

– Ontario Christian 2024
Marshall has a much improved off the dribble game. She’s more comfortable in putting the ball on the floor and attacking the paint. Uses her body well to finish at the basket. More forceful in attacking the rim. Runs the floor well. Uses shot fakes to get in closer. Can shoot consistently from three-point range with the defense in her space or off the catch.
