Last season, Madeira, Mariemont and Taylor all were within one game of each other when the conference season ended, with Indian Hill just two games back of the leader. All four teams have key players back despite losing some good ones to graduation. I expect all of those teams to challenge for the title with Deer Park knocking at the door wanting that chance at a title.
5 Players to Watch
Caroline Langworthy
Caroline Langworthy
Caroline returns as the leading scorer in the conference, averaging just over 14 points per game last season, One thing she does is like to let it fly from behind the arc, as she she over 150 last season. She did shoot at a 34% clip which is respectable from that range. Her big game last season came in a big 63-49 win against Cincinnati Country Day when Caroline dropped 34 points including seven from behind the three-point mark. One to keep an eye on this season if Indian Hill is going to contend.
Brooke Arington
Brooke Arington
Brooke is another player for Indian Hill who I expect to step up her game this season She also is an offensive threat for the Braves but will also help her team on both ends of the floor. Look for her to raise her game with good court sense and the ability to see the court well. Smart basketball IQ and will help form a solid tandem with Langworthy this season.
Zoe Abroms
Zoe Abroms
Can play solid around the rim, has good hands with the ability to use her length to help block or alter shots. Reacts well to the ball and with quick hands is able to create mistakes. Has good range, can connect from behind the arc and is a solid threat for her team. Ready for a big senior season ahead!
Willow Montag Willow Montag 5'6" | PG Taylor | 2026 OH
Willow Montag Willow Montag 5'6" | PG Taylor | 2026 OH
She is a gritty sophomore who opened a lot of eyes her freshman season. She scored 25 points and was clutch in an overtime win against Indian Hill. She plays with a lot of fire, active and full of energy. Averaged over 12 points per game as a freshman and defensively she was a bigtime threat to her opponents. Willow led the conference in steals as a freshman and I can’t wait to see her game this year!
Kaylee Williams Kaylee Williams 5'6" | CG Cincinnati Deer Park | 2025 OH
Kaylee Williams Kaylee Williams 5'6" | CG Cincinnati Deer Park | 2025 OH
Another consistent player who averaged double figures for a team who finished with 15 wins last season. She was steady all year, as her 46% field goal percentage would indicate. She also can hit the three with close to 9 rebounds per game. Scrappy player who looks to increae her numbers this year.
