SubscribeHere are some girls we saw this weekend that impressed us and we are going to look into them further as the season goes on, we want to shed some light on those who have not been talked about much on our platform. Here are some newbies we thought would be a great read for those that are subscribed to our site. Here we go and hope you enjoy.
2026, 5’6, CG, La Jolla Country Day HS, Safiyah Sugapong
Safiyah is turning out to be the point guard and lending some scoring for her team as we have watched her play, this weekend was not any different, she was able to keep her team in control and give her coach reassurance about her abilities in my opinion. She was able to do some scoring, she could set her teammates up for easy baskets and she ran the offense to the letter and keep the ball moving in a positive manner. She kept the floor stable and many watch her do so and most likely will write about it just like I have.
2025, 5’3, PG, San Joaquin Memorial HS,

Alexa is a do it all point guard and she did just that for her team, she was able to get the team working in a positive manner and ran the offense to perfection for her coach. She is quite scrappy and she is in control when she is on the floor, she can get to the rim and score thru traffic and she can also knock down the jumper with some type of consistency. We watched her before, but she brought some things to life for us this weekend and we see she is trying to add some skills to her game to perfect her basketball IQ.
2025, 5’8, CG, San Joaquin Memorial HS, Sienna Evans
Sienna is a versatile guard that can score in a variety of ways and is quite the trickster with some of the shots she is able to make on the floor. She can contort her body and get thru defenders and make a reverse layup thru the contact, that is some type of impressive in our book. She can score in many ways, she can get to the rim off the dribble, she can catch and shoot, she can hit the jumper and make things happen on the floor. We were impressed with her play this weekend..
2025, 6’0, PF, Orangewood Academy HS, Ndeye Astou Ndiaye
We love what we saw from this kid, she is developing forward/center that is agile and can run the floor and get easy buckets. She showed us a little short corner action and some freethrow shooting, but we believe she will develop into the forward that most will agree upon on. She has some good size, she has long arms for blocking shots and she is a decent rebounder in our opinion. We watched her run the floor, catch with soft hands and was able to finish in transition.
