Had the ball on a string and brought that gritty energy on defense — picking up 94 feet and making ball handlers work the whole way. Played with great pace, changed speeds well, and never picked up her dribble unless she was making a pass. A true conductor out there.
Got to the rim a lot and stayed in attack mode. Could score it from three off the dribble or the catch — just took what the defense gave her. Good passer, tough on both ends, and ran the show the right way.

Safiyah is a quick crafty guard that creates for herself and others with ease. Quick first step + solid high arcing floater in traffic. Attacks angles well; takes care of the ball while maintaining vision to see teammates. Efficient shooter from behind the arc (30+% over 100 shot volume) off the bounce and kickout, will pull if defender goes under screen. High ceiling.
