Gleason’s team did not play in the fall league, so she found a team to join – Grand Rapids Christian. Gleason utilizes her height advantage to block shots, aggressively crashes the boards for numerous offensive rebounds and converts them into put-backs. She showed her range by knocking down a couple 3-pointers.
Highlights
Lila Fus
Lila Fus
Fus did a great job running the point for her Forest Hills Northern team. She is an exceptional ball-handler and pushes the pace by making the pass ahead to get easy buckets in transition. She has great range and made multiple 3’s on the night. She finished at the rim with a few fancy moves, including a nice step-through.
Dy’Nasti Bell
Dy’Nasti Bell
Bell really impressed me week after week this fall. I was shocked when I found out she was a freshman! She is going to be a nice addition to an already talented Muskegon team. She brings a strong Post presence who does her job of rebounding and being a rim protector. She will be a freshman who can make an impact right away!
I like Weaver more and more every time I watch her play. She has a toughness about her. She takes the ball to the hoop strong and is not afraid to finish in traffic. I was able to see a spin move this past week that was tough to guard. She has a great shot and hit multiple 3’s on the night.

Bottum definitely deserves to be ranked and I see that changing soon. She does a great job in the Post and has exceptional footwork, but she can also handle the ball and knock down the mid-range jumper. I see a big Junior season coming for Lakely!
Taelynn Hatfield
Taelynn Hatfield
Hatfield is a strong Post player with good footwork. She does her job as a rim protector, getting many blocks. She should have a big Senior season for Hudsonville this year.
Sophia Prins
Sophia Prins
Prins is a lefty guard that is crafty with the ball in her hands. She can get in the lane and finish through traffic over much bigger players. I expect a big Sophomore season out of Prins this year.
Wolthuis impresses me every time I watch her. She is an amazing shooter with great range. She has impressive defensive skills, including great anticipation, which allow her to steal the ball often. I see a big Sophomore season for Lizzie coming!
