Lizzie became the fourth South Christian girls’ basketball player to reach 1,000 career points during a 71-18 win against Grand Rapids Union. She paced D2s top-ranked Sailors with 24 points (6 3PT) and will continue her basketball career at Hope College following graduation. Lizzie is averaging 11 points per game this season, while shooting 38% from beyond the arc, 75% from the line, and has a 54% EFG%.

Wolthuis is a reliable perimeter threat with exceptional shooting ability from deep. She was actively seeking open space along the arc and stayed shot-ready with her hands prepared for quick catch-and-shoot opportunities. Her awareness off the ball and confident release make her a constant concern for defenses, and her ability to stretch the floor adds valuable spacing to her team’s offense.

Lizzie enters her senior year as one of the OK Gold’s premier returners, bringing experience, competitiveness, and a polished all-around game to South Christian’s lineup. A Hope College commit and a First Team All-Conference selection, she provides steady scoring, toughness, and a presence that elevates everyone around her. With years of varsity experience and a relentless drive to win, she’s positioned to be a major force for the Sailors once again this season.

Lizzie has been on varsity since her freshman year at South Christian. She’s a fierce competitor and positive teammate who’s been instrumental to the Sailors’ success this season. Lizzie holds the school record for 3-pointers made in a career with 129 and has been all-conference twice. Lizzie has reached double-digit points in 14 games this season, averaging 11.7 points per game. She is a sniper from beyond the arc, with a 40.6% 3PT%. Lizzie made three triples in six games and four triples in five games. She scored 16 points with seven rebounds and two assists against Holland Christian, 15 points against East Kentwood, 15 points with four rebounds and two assists against Northview, and a combined 35 points in two outings versus Wyoming; all wins. South Christian finished 20-2 (11-1 conference), splitting wins with G.R. West Catholic to win the O.K. Gold title. Lizzie helped the Sailors earn additional victories against Wayland, East Grand Rapids, and G.R. Catholic Central.
