Mira Costa Basketball Showcase: California Ballers On The Rise

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I had the opportunity to visit Manhattan Beach this weekend and watch some of the preeminent high school teams in California at the Mira Costa Basketball Showcase. This was an exciting event due to all the explosive talent from schools like Etiwanda, Oak Park and Mater Dei. All these girls have special talent and awesome sportsmanship and just watching these players support not only their teammates but also their opponents exemplified this awesome basketball community. She can score from under the basket and has a reliable jump shot in the key. Her height allows her to soar over opponents for crucial rebounds and she consistently has excellent court awareness. She does a great job making  precise passes when she can't take a shot herself. She is a very confident player and shows great patience when attacking the rim. She has such a good touch from the outside.
