Josie Pinnock
Pinnock enters the 2023-2024 season as a name that is rising up the boards in New York. With a long history producing of great guards in New York, Pinnock will look to carry the torch. Analyzing Pinnock’s games, there is not much she can’t do and her potential has no ceiling on how good she can be. She looks very comfortable playing on or off the ball, but she is at her best when she’s leading the break looking for teammates running the floor. She has the makings to be an elite playmaker, but will need to get more reps until the game slows down for her. She can make just about any pass, can attack the paint, and lead the fastbreak in open space. Her playmaking ability is matched by her natural scoring ability from all three levels on the court. She shows great touch around the rim and has good shooting mechanics with a quick release on her shot. She is confident and can use her physicality to her advantage and to create opportunities. Excited to monitor her progress this season. Expecting big things.
