TEAM 3
Sophia Hogue Sophia Hogue 5'5" Mineola | 2026 TX -5’5 G (Mineola) BCB Elite [2026]
Hogue did a couple of things off the top that I love to see and that was “on the ball” defense baseline to baseline as well as “playing the passing lane” because you can’t teach effort and both help to create turnover. She also showed she could handle the ball after the steal to score or dish yet her court vision in the open court stood out as well
Emma Hopkins Emma Hopkins 5'6" Joshua | 2025 TX -5’6 G (Joshua) Members Only Basketball [2025]
Hopkins did a good job of not only creating her shot under pressure but knocking it down with a hand in her face. Her deceptive first step allowed her to get by the defender to score but as the games progressed, she showed she could not only knock down the midrange but the very long-range jumper, somewhere around the NBA line
Sydnie Villarreal Sydnie Villarreal 5'6" | CG St. Agnes Academy | 2025 State TX -5’6 G (St Agnes) Proskills ‘ last=”]’ last=”]’ last=”] Houston [2025] see evaluation here
Izabel Soto Izabel Soto 5'5" Laredo United South | 2024 TX -5’5 G (Laredo United South) Laredo Elite [2024]
Soto was so smooth on both ends and watching her attack the basket to score from multiple angles was very nice even better she took the defender off the dribble with either hand. Her defense in the set as well as in the full-court was solid and her court vision was also a big plus as she hit teammates in traffic a few times. She also showed the stop-and-pop jumper in transition
Ava Anderson Ava Anderson 5'10" | SF Lake Creek | 2025 State TX -5’10 F (Lake Creek) Proskills ‘ last=”]’ last=”]’ last=”] Houston [2025]
Anderson mixed it up nicely on the offensive end by showing she could not only score off the dribble but around the basket as well, putbacks included, yes she rebounded on both ends of the floor. She also handled the ball after the rebound, her interior defense was nice, and she even stepped out of the paint to guard her man but watching her drop the jumper was also a plus
Jordan Daigle Jordan Daigle 6'2" | PF Oak Ridge | 2026 TX -6’0 F/C (Oak Ridge) Proskills ‘ last=”]’ last=”]’ last=”] Houston [2026]
Daigle is “long and athletic” please remember that is the base yet her standing at “the magic number” puts her in a unique position as college coaches love both of those attributes, so what are her “intangibles”? Well, she goes after the ball off the rim, a lost art, and scored on putbacks as well as around the basket. She did a good job attacking and finishing after contact and her defense was solid
Alani Owens Alani Owens 5'9" Covenant Christian | 2024 TX -5’9 G (Covenant Christian) Team Texas S40 17U [2024]
Owens is a “long and athletic” guard who is not only shifty with the ball, but her first step can leave the defender cemented to the floor as she blows by them to score. Her body control is nice, she finished after contact and she also did a good job of dropping it from outside. She also did a good job of applying heat on the defensive end and her playing the passing lane had me smiling
Lindsey Vlasak Lindsey Vlasak 6'0" | SG Memorial Senior | 2025 TX -6’0 F/C ( Spring Branch Memorial) Just Play UA Rise 16U [2025] see evaluation here
Kaelie Massenburg Kaelie Massenburg 6'2" | C Denison | 2025 State TX -6’2 C (Denison) Texas Elite [2025] see evaluation here
TEAM 4
Jaclyn Silva Jaclyn Silva 5'5" | PG John Paul II | 2026 State TX -5’5 PG (John Paul II) Texas U [2026] see evaluation here
Mya Wesley Mya Wesley 5'6" | CG Eastland | 2024 State TX -5’6 G (Easatland) 2024 see evaluation here
Heaven Okolie Heaven Okolie 5'7" McKinney | 2026 TX -5’7 G (McKinney) 2026
Okolie is a long and athletic guard who is high-energy on both ends of the floor. She understands positioning and this helped enable her to rebound over taller players, she handled the ball afterward in the open court yet her court vision in transition was nice, and so was her decision-making. She also scored and (or) dished off the dribble but her “on the ball” defense was smothering at times
Briann Warehime Briann Warehime 5'8" | PG Academy | 2025 State TX -5’6 G ( Academy) Phoenix Select [2025]see evaluation here
Gianna Dudenhoeffer Gianna Dudenhoeffer 5'6" Vista Ridge | 2026 TX -5’6 G (Vista Ridge) CenTex Attack [2026]
Dudenhoeffer went coast to coast coast so many times, I wanted to give her frequent flyer miles yet handling the ball after rebounding is one thing, doing it under pressure is more impressive but she scored around the basket, even on putbacks against taller players. She also scored off the dribble but her quick hands-on defense along with her playing the passing lane led to scoring opportunities for her team
Makayla Ellison Makayla Ellison 5'10" | SF Frisco Memorial | 2025 State TX -5’10 F(Frisco Memorial) Team Strive Blue [2025] see evaluation here
Kailey Sexton Kailey Sexton 6'0" Deer Park | 2025 TX -6’0 C/F (Deer Park) ISO [2025]
Sexton is “long and athletic” one more time, that is the base and she’s also standing at “the magic number” yet plays even taller. Her interior defense was solid, and so was her timing to block shots but she hit the boards, on both ends, scored around the basket, and showed the “hands and footwork” #THROWBACK I enjoy seeing. She also scored off the dribble
