Silva kept the defender off balance on both days as she mixed up ways to attack the basket by using a deceptive first step, a slight HEZ, or just blowing by them and what made it even better was her finishing strongly after contact, with either hand. Body control was nice, and so was her crossover in transition yet her step back was another plus as she dropped the jumper

Silva has always been one of those players constantly adding to her game and even at a young age, her comprehension was ahead of her years. Yeah, she understands how to run a team, when to push the ball and when to slow it down yet her ability to control the tempo and make good decisions are just things you can’s teach. Court vision is very good, so is her ability to create her shot while being defended to drop it from outside, mid to long-range, as well as score off the dribble

Silva had me smiling at the PGH Top 250 Expo as I have also called it Showcase which is the right word because I have been watching her SHOWCASE her skills for seems like a lifetime ago. The great things about her is her desire to want to get better, yeah she could always handle the ball under pressure and see the floor but each season she adds something and one thing is her ability to score off the dribble, with either hand while attacking with either hand, under pressure. Mid to long-range, check and that’s always was she does to her man on the defensive end as her “on the ball” pressure is causing problems
