Eva Love Eva Love 5'9" | SG La Cueva | 2024 State NM , a 2024 SG from La Cueva, has committed to Air Force Academy. A DI program located just north of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and member of the Mountain West Conference.
Love enters her Senior year as the No. 2 ranked player overall & the No. 1 ranked SG in her class. The All-State Guard (2nd Team 2022) is a three-level scorer who excels in the midrange. Last season (22-23), Love was limited due to an ankle injury, missing roughly 1/4 of the Bears games. Despite the time missed, Love still averaged 10.1 PPG, 6.2 RPG & 2.1 APG in 22 GP.
Yvanna Villareal Yvanna Villareal 5'6" | CG Organ Mountain | 2024 State NM , a 2024 CG from Organ Mountain, has committed to Western New Mexico University. A DII program located in Silver City, New Mexico, and member of the Lone Star Conference.
Villareal, the No. 15 ranked player overall & No. 4 CG in her Class, is a physical player who likes to slash her way to the basket. Excellent at protecting the ball, shielding defenders – uses the body – which leads to fouls drawn and free-throw attempts. As a Junior, Villarreal averaged 11.2 PPG & 1.8 APG in 27 GP for the Lady Knights.
