Question #1: What was your thoughts on how the season went this past year?
Answer: This season was definitely the hardest for me out of my high school seasons, getting injured so early and missing almost the whole season was very hard to get throughout it helped me become a more knowledgeable player. As a team, I think this season went extremely well, it didn’t end the way we wanted to end the season at all. Definitely a heartbreaking way to end our season but we learned so much from it and we are ready to improve. Our love for each other as a team was like no other and one of the main reasons why we made it so far despite all the obstacles we faced.
Question #2: What are some points of emphasis this off-season?
Answer: This off-season, I want to become a better three-point shooter and a more consistent three-point shooter. After getting injured, I’ve been a little timid getting to the rim, so getting to the rim, finishing with contact and with patience is something I’ve been working on and will continue to work on.
Question #3: What do you want to accomplish next season?
Answer: Obviously getting Gatorade Player of the Year, District Player of the Year and all the other accolades are achievements I want to receive. But, we still haven’t won a State Championship, so that’s my biggest goal I want to achieve this upcoming season for my team and for our program that I’ve been a part of building and for everyone that supports us.
