2025s That Can Really Shoot It

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Here we have a collective of players we believe are great shooters at this moment in the season, we have those who are verified shooters and we have those who are streaky shooters, we are highlighting the verified shooters. Here are our selecction on what we have seen since the kids have started playing in the preseason.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2025, 5'7, CG, Harvard Westlake HS</strong>&nbsp;–&nbsp;<strong>[player_tooltip player_id='312843' first='Deana' last='Thompson']</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Deana can really score the ball in our opinion, she is a multi-talented scorer at the point guard or shooting guard spot, that is why we consider her more of a combo guard, cause she can lend the team minutes at either position. She shoots the midrange, she shoots the three ball and she is consistent in both of those and that is why we call her a shooter, she will not miss much if she gets her feet set and a good look at the basket. She has nice form and her follow thru is good and will continue to improve as she gets older and stronger. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2025, 5'3, PG, San Joaquin Memorial HS, [player_tooltip player_id='806971' first='Alexa' last='Perryman']</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Alexa is considered a shooter for many reasons, she is small and scrappy and can make things happen on the floor, she does not miss open shots, period, she makes them and her team is able to count on it the times we watched her play. She shoots the three ball with consistency and she is able to stop and pop the midrange of the dribble, very good at that. She even has a nice floater in the paint at times we saw her use it. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2025, 5'8, CG, Arleta HS, [player_tooltip player_id='839774' first='Justine' last='Mejia']</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Justine is able to score in the paint and in the midrange, she make good moves to the basket in the low post, she plays quite bigger than she is, she is a Barkeley in my opinion. She shoots it well in the short corner and can stretch it out to the 15 foot area of the floor, she has nice form and I believe she will stretch further this season and show a nice touch from three land. She is consider a shooter cause she is consistent from the area she has perfected on the floor.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2025, 6'0, CG, Mater Dei HS, [player_tooltip player_id='104789' first='Addison' last='Deal']</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Addie is a multi-talented big guard with some skills to boot, she is very aggressive on the offensive side of the ball and she is a pretty good defender as well. She can score from anywhere on the floor, she is good going down hill and finishing thru contact, she is good at making the stop and pop midrange shot and her three point shot is expanding to take her shot out to the professional three point line. She is the total package and that is why she is one of the top kids in her class, period.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
