Pedro brings a versatile offensive skillset, especially productive at leveraging her strength to attack the paint. Given her proactive handle, she can leverage her positional strength and low center of gravity to attack mismatches. Her ability to play efficiently inside and outside the arc is truly remarkable, boasting one of the more versatile offensive skill sets in the class. Defensively, the guard competes on the glass, staying strong to mitigate opposing rebounders.
Highlights
Nance is a disruptive guard who is particularly quick on both ends. Effective at maximizing the little things within the game, the guard is excellent at reading the defense to quickly take advantage of a scrambling defense. On the defensive side, Nance is particularly quick laterally, keeping wide arms to instigate opposing ball handlers. Her well rounded impact, particularly defensively, should secure her an opportunity in due time.
Valdez brings a dependable complementary skill set, effectively spacing the floor on attempts off the catch and keeping the defense honest while attacking the rim downhill. The guard does an excellent job of maximizing her opportunities around the floor, utilizing her quick instincts to pick apart weaknesses in the defense.
Highlights
Vigil is particularly assertive attacking the paint, constantly seeking driving lanes and weaknesses in the defense. She has no trouble getting physical on drives, finding ways to leverage contact for space on later moves. Capable spinning around opponents or bumping away a rotating defender, Vigil will be an especially intriguing downhill scorer in the coming years. Her ability to space the floor is another area to monitor.
Wiesner should add value as a complementary shotmaker, effectively attacking closeouts and playing at a fast pace. The guard has been excellent reading the floor for driving lanes, consistently attacking downhill when presented an opportunity. The guard enjoys playing in transition, either from self-started fast breaks or making herself available on outlets from teammates. Her impact spacing the floor will be especially intriguing, certainly opening up the rest of her game.
Highlights
Lesage has shown upside spacing the floor, particularly on spot-up attempts. Especially proactive attempting shots either from a standstill or stepping into such attempts in the secondary break. Always primed for a three point attempt, the guard is certainly one to watch along the perimeter. Attracting gravity with the ball, Lesage has shown upside facilitating out of the pick and roll, adequately leading teammates on the downhill.
