Valdez ignited the game with her energy, drilling two deep three-pointers in the opening quarter. She buried another triple in the second quarter, helping East build a commanding lead. Valdez added a nice dump-off pass to an open teammate after getting two feet in the paint. She ended up with 18 points including going 4-4 from deep. She played great defensively. Hustled for every loose ball, even diving out of bounds to save a possession for East. From the opening tip, Valdez played like she wanted this win more than anyone.
