We try to evaluate at least (4) girls per team we watch a day, that way we have sufficient notes on those kids if we decide to add them to the rankings edition coming up in December 2023. Enjoy what we thought about these kids…
2027, CG, Armanyie Reed Armanyie Reed 5'7" | CG Bishop Montgomery | 2027 State CA
Armanyie is tough on the defensive end of the floor, she picks up full court the whole game, she gets multiple deflections. She gets out into the lane in transition and is able to score at the rim thru contact. This kid is just an all around defensive menace, along with being a tough defender, she can also pass the ball, she recognizes double-teams and is able to get rid of the ball when that happens.
2026, 5’5, CG, Amalia Holguin Amalia Holguin 5'6" | PG Sage Hill | 2026 State CA
Amalia is a combo guard with some skill set. she has a nice handle and has some swagger to her game, she can score in a variety of ways. She is able to stop on a dime and knock down the midrange shot, she can swing thru and pop you from behind the arc and she is able to leave you in the dust off some nice cuts. This kid is talented and we loved watching her play this game, she is gonna be special for all time to come.
2026, 5’10, SF, Savannah Philan Savannah Philan 5'10" | SF Ontario Christian | 2026 State CA
Savannah has some nice size on her to be so young, she has a college body once she puts on some more muscle, she plays really big in the paint, she can score over both shoulders and also blocks some shots in the paint as well. She is also a good screener, laying some good ones to guards in the pick and roll, she is solid when it comes to setting screens, they are hard screens, love it.
2024, SF, Chloe Adamo Chloe Adamo 5'11" | SF Oak Park | 2024 State CA
Chloe showed us she was an excellent rebounder, she could get up and down the floor and get defensive and offensive boards in the game. She ran the lanes and has soft hands to catch and finish at the rim, love the way she catches and finishes on the break. She is also a high IQ player, recognizing the double and gets the ball back out to wing and then repost. She boxed players out with ease, love her intensity in the paint.
