For some, their hard work has payed off, resulting in opportunities at the next level. The “early period” for ‘National Signing Day‘ began on Nov. 8, which meant student-athletes could sign their National Letter of Intent (NLI.) at the Division I & Division II levels.

SG Eva Love Eva Love 5’9″ | SG La Cueva | 2024 State NM from La Cueva, has signed to Air Force. A Division I program and member of the Mountain West Conference. Last season (22-23) Air Force finished 13-18 overall with a 8-10 conference record — This season, the Falcons are currently 2-1 to begin 2023-24 —

F/C Taejhuan Hill Taejhuan Hill 5’11” | C Volcano Vista | 2024 State NM , has signed to Adams State University. A Division II program located in Alamosa, Colo. (CO) and member of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC). Last season, the Grizzlies finished 21-9 (16-6) with a staggering 15-1 record at ‘Plachy Hall‘

Taejhuan and the Hawks begin the 2023-34 season with a home game on Nov. 30 vs Sandia
Wing player, Kapiolani Anitielu Kapiolani Anitielu 5’10” | SF Farmington | 2024 State NM from Farmington, has signed to Eastern Wyoming College. Located in Torrington, Wyo. (WY) the Lancers are a NJCAA Region 9 member who went 7-21 (1-9) a season ago.
As a member of the Scorpions, Kapiolani has been absolutely dynamic. Appearing in 61 games, Anitielu has averaged 12.2 PPG to go along with 4 RPG, 1.8 APG & 2.3 SPG.

F Caitlin Turnbow Caitlin Turnbow 5’10” | PF Organ Mountain | 2024 State NM from Organ Mountain, has signed to Fort Lewis, located in Durango, Colo. (CO) A Division II program and member of the RMAC. In 2022-23, the Skyhawks went 9-19 (6-16).
Turnbow, who is skilled post scorer, is on the verge of joining the 1,000 point club, needing just 12 more points! In 70 games played, Caitlin has averaged 14.1 PPG on 49% from the field, while also collecting 9.3 RPG.
CG Yvanna Villareal Yvanna Villareal 5’6″ | CG Organ Mountain | 2024 State NM from Organ Mountain has signed to Western New Mexico University, located in Silver city, N.M. A Division II program and member of the Lone Star Conference.rnAs a junior, Villareal appeared in 27 games totaling 303 points which averaged out to 11.2 PPG. Villareal also collected 4.1 RPG while dishing out 1.8 APG & swiping 2 SPG.
Caitlin Turnbow Caitlin Turnbow 5’10” | PF Organ Mountain | 2024 State NM , Yvanna Villareal Yvanna Villareal 5’6″ | CG Organ Mountain | 2024 State NM and the Knights start the 23-24 season, on the road @ Hobbs on Dec. 2
Marsai Martinez Marsai Martinez 5’4″ | PF West Mesa | 2024 State NM from West Mesa, has signed to Crown College, located in Saint Bonifacius, Minn. (MN) A NAIA program and member of the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC).rnMartinez, who is listed as a Forward, is really a Guard but due to her teams matchups and injury plagued roster, often lines up against front court players. With that being said, the value Marsai brings as a “Glue Player” is phenomenal.
In 60 games played, Martinez has averaged 3.9 PPG, 3.8 RPG & 1.3 SPG for the Mustangs.
On Nov. 29 Martinez and the Mustangs open the regular season at home vs Highland.
