who was away on a visit and recently signed with Cincinnati, here is what I caught
Gipson was a #D1Lock when I first caught her heading into middle school, they only question was how high she would go and she has shown on the court progression every season and while taking her game to yet another level in each of those years, her leadership and being vocal on the court speaks volumes. She can defend on the ball and in the interior, she rebounds on both ends and she scores both off the dribble as well as from mid to long-range
Glover was another early #D1Lock, probably when she was 10 or 11 playing in Prime Time Nationals yet her MINDSET has always been “the defender can’t stop me” and her being able to overpower players inside the paint and literally scoring with them hanging on her has been a treat for me to see. She’s not 100% yet but she’s near and is still scary as her DESIRE to go after the ball off the rim, on both ends, is #THROWBACK yet her defense will also play a huge part in how far they can go
Kemp had me yelling KK years ago, another early #D1Lock in elementary school because her game was ahead of her years. She was explosive, yet under control even then, but her “poise under pressure” and doing things “instinctively” was all a REAL EVALUATOR needed to see. Her “on the ball” defense and quick hands create turnovers, so does her playing the passing let het her “court vision” in the set or the length of the court is among the best in Texas. She scores off the dribble and drops the mid to long-range

Clayton is THE GLUE that holds everything together for her squad and her ability to just completely off and score in droves, multiple ways, is huge for her squad yet so is her unselfishness and decision making. She creates her shot, under pressure, to attack off the dribble and finish strongly after contact, with either hand yet her jumper is also smooth and she drops it with a hand in her face. She rebounds, on both ends and can go “coast to coast” afterward to score or dish

Laila Coleman
Laila Coleman
Coleman has future Top 100 written all over her as she’s an athletic guard that uses her athleticism on both ends quite well. Her “on the ball” pressure was smothering at times, yet she uses multiple moves to attack and finish off the dribble. Speaking of pressure, she understands how to create her shot while being tightly guarded and her “catch and shoot” from mid to long range was nice

T’Anna Sadler
T’Anna Sadler
Sadler just left me speechless as she has the “hands and footwork” down and one thing I love is #THROWBACK stuff that got me interested in doing this. She understands how to use her frame, on both ends and scores in the paint but she also rebounds on both ends and knows how to get positioning

Kierston Russell
Kierston Russell
Russell caught my eye at last seasons Sandra Meadows Classic, yes I will be back and her progression on the court, on both ends will play a huge part in how far this very deep squad goes
Samari Holman and Aja Smith are being dropped next week on the 2027 Rankings and Watchlist, stay tuned
