Gipson has me wondering about the first time I saw her, I knew it was probably in the 6th grade yet no roster means nothing in the search bar. Watching her “on the court” progression has been a treat as she’s a big guard who finds ways to put the ball in the basket. Mid to long-range, off the dribble, around the basket, putbacks included, she just gets it done. Her defense as well as rebounding also stood out

Gipson was another very young player that showed me early she had the “IT” factor and as she continued to grow, on and off the court, she’s placed herself in a very good position because she has shown she can not only blend in whatever situation she’s placed in to score in the flow, she understands how to take over games. She recognizes mismatches and takes advantage of them and when you factor in she’s a big guard that can score multiple ways, that’s impressive yet she also has very good court vision and defends strongly

Gipson was a #D1Lock when I first caught her heading into middle school, they only question was how high she would go and she has shown on the court progression every season and while taking her game to yet another level in each of those years, her leadership and being vocal on the court speaks volumes. She can defend on the ball and in the interior, she rebounds on both ends and she scores both off the dribble as well as from mid to long-range
