SubscribeThe Great Lakes Christian College hosted the inaugural Headliners Invitational on Sunday, November 12th in Michigan. The event showcased top uncommitted prospects competing in thee sessions, with the second session primarily for 2024/2025 prospects. The session was led by Coach Megan Hudson of Lansing Community College, Assistant Coach Trafford Hannon of Lansing Community College, and Assistant Coach Jessica Duleba of Oakland Community College. College coaches provided offensive, defensive, and full-court skills sessions before athletes played full-court games. The PGH scouts offered exclusive written coverage of the event, while the SnipBack App recorded the games. Participants were provided with reversibles by Moneyball Sportswear.
6 colleges evaluated prospects on-site during sessions one and two with 80+ prospects participating across three sessions. The event was successful due to the exceptional format, prospects, coaches, sponsors, scouts, and organizers who were well-prepared.

was a steady point guard at the Headliners Invitational! She consistently communicated and directed her teammates effectively as a great leader. She is a talented passer and showed her strength by making a few full-court passes to her teammates running the floor. She has nice footwork while shooting and connected on a step-back 3-pointer. Big things ahead for the talented junior from Heritage!

showed off her ball-handling skills at the Headliners Invitational! With her exceptional ball-handling abilities and her ability to play off the ball, she was a force to be reckoned with on the court. She attacked the rim and finished through traffic with ease. She did a great job of running the floor when in with her teammate Hernandez, and they connected on many transition buckets. I’m expecting a big junior season for her at Midland this winter!

was one of the 2026’s playing up with the 24/25 group at the Headliners Invitational! She plays well beyond her years, so that is no problem for a player like Victoria. She knocked down multiple shots from beyond the arc. She can create for herself or shoot it off the catch. I look forward to watching Hauffe the next three years, and I’m expecting big things from her this winter at Hemlock!

Kendall Kelsey
Kendall Kelsey
#34 Kendall Kelsey is a 2024 still available, and she showed she can play at the Headliners Invitational! She showed she can run the offense with great court vision and handles. She had a crossover from the top of the key, and would blow by her defender. She attacked the rim and finished tough through much taller players. She had a HUGE block on the perimeter! I would expect a nice senior season for Kendall at Harper Woods!

Baylor Syrjala
Baylor Syrjala
#33 Baylor Syrjala is an underrated player who had a great day at the Headliners Invitational! She has exceptional ball-handling skills and court vision. She is crafty with the ball in her hands and had an array of finishes on Sunday. She scored at all three levels with a couple of shots behind the arc, a mid-range jumper in transition, and numerous finishes at the rim. She plays the passing lanes and came away with multiple deflections and steals on the day. Her motor did not stop! I’m expecting a big junior season from Baylor this winter at Lakeview!
#49 Landen Smith Landen Smith 5’9″ | SF East Kentwood | 2025 State MI impressed scouts at both the PGH Top 250 Expo and then again at the Headliners Invitational. She uses her strength and athleticism on the both ends of the floor. I lost track of the amount of offensive rebounds she pulled down, and then went up strong for the put-backs. She has next level footwork around the rim. Big things are happening for Smith, and I’m looking forward to watching her compete at East Kentwood this winter!

is a player who has blown up at the scene this past summer and fall! Her performance at the Headliners Invitational was no different. She is a lefty, and when she catches the ball on the left wing, it’s a rip-through and a basket. She is fun to watch get the steal and take it coast to coast. She had some big blocks on Sunday. There are big things happening for Faith and she is expected to have a huge sophomore season at Rochester Adams!

Charley Mahan
Charley Mahan
#0 Charley Mahan is another available ’24 that had a great day at the Headliners Invitational! She does a lot of the little things on the floor to help her team. She hustled back on offense to create scoring opportunities for her team, and upon securing a defensive rebound, she quickly made an accurate pass to her teammates. She took great pride in her defense and had numerous steals, tie-ups, and blocks on the day. I’m looking forward to watching her senior season this winter for Chesaning!
