If you’re a college coach and haven’t watched Smith play, trust me on this one. She has next level strength and power right now. Smith can simply power up at the rim through contact and there isn’t much that most defenders can do about it. She’s also pretty versatile and can attack off the wing on the perimeter.

Smith had a really good grassroots season last year with BNB and I’d expect more of the same. She’s a physical player and has the strength to back it up. Smith doesn’t mess around near the rim and actually plays better with contact. She’s a versatile player that can effect the game from inside and out. I’d expect Smith to be on many recruiting boards during this season.

was a Power Forward who muscled her way into the MVP discussion Sunday at the Headliners Invitational. Landen was a relentless rebounder who out-worked opponents in the paint on both ends. She has the ability to face up and transition dribble to the basket using both hands. Landen scored in the paint with strong finishes in transition and the half court game. She finished through contact and was an aggressive defender on the ball. She will be an exciting prospect to watch with East Kentwood this winter.

impressed scouts at both the PGH Top 250 Expo and then again at the Headliners Invitational. She uses her strength and athleticism on the both ends of the floor. I lost track of the amount of offensive rebounds she pulled down, and then went up strong for the put-backs. She has next level footwork around the rim. Big things are happening for Smith, and I’m looking forward to watching her compete at East Kentwood this winter!

It doesn’t always have to flashy on your way to the rim and Smith proved that. She was like a wrecking ball with a remote control on her way to the rim. Smith outpowered everyone and got to the bucket, but she was under complete control on her way there.

Smith was lights out at the Top 250. She is a versatile athlete that seems to always provide positional mismatches. Smith showed that she has that next level takeover ability and can just go get buckets. The best part is, her game is still raw so she has plenty of upside that it looks like she’ll fill just fine.

Smith is a stat stuffer! She used her strength to pull down boards and go back up strong. She had multiple and one’s on the day. She has a nice touch around the rim and used her floater in traffic.

Smith was just so impressive at the event on Saturday. Her game is raw, but she was still dominant. She’s the type of player that if she wants a bucket, best of luck stopping her. Smith uses her strength to shrug off defenders on her way to the rim. She’s active on the glass and relentless when given a look under the rim.
