This 6’0 Oakland post just gave her committment to Shorter. Philips game has been a joy to follow. She’s definitely an old-school, bully-ball post. She’s strong and assertive and doesn’t shy away from contact. But, she has also developed a 3pt shot, and adding that layer to her games makes all the difference in the world.
Alcoa standout Pfeiffer had a few really nice offers (ETSU, LaSalle, etc), but ultimately decided to stay close to home, and hopefully help build the TTU brand (with other local players

and Sophi Miller). She is a stretch post that can do a lot of good things with the ball in her hands. Nice court vision and awareness. Powerful finisher. Seeks contact. Battles on the glass.
Newman also gave her commitment to TTU. I got a chance to watch her play for GP in the state tournament, and she’s everything celebrated. Fiery competitor, gifted scorer, battles for boards, ultra skilled. She’s as complete a HS player as you will find. Get a chance to watch her!
Holt is a recent Lipscomb commit. Absolute. Shooter. That. Doesn’t. Miss. Her game isn’t very complicated, she’s simply one of the better shooters in her class.
Gale has recently ended her recruitment after committing to Mars Hill. The PCA standout is coming off an injury but will hopefully be fully recovered by the time the season starts. Smooth jumper. High skill set. Really high level competitor.
