Mid Lakes Conference Preview

Last season, Fair Grove and Skyline advanced to the Final Four of the Class 3 state tournament with Fair Grove taking home the state championship. Strafford has a tremendous winning tradition as well while Clever and Forsyth look to be competitive. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>STARTING FIVE</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='634025' first='Brooke' last='Daniels'] (Fair Grove): A talented 2026 point guard who played a big part in Fair Grove's run to the Class 3 state championship last season. She stuffs the stat sheet in addition to being a high-level floor general. She averaged 10 points, five assists and three steals a game last season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='645080' first='Ireland' last='Jones'] (Clever): An excellent 5'5" 2024 point guard who just signed with Baptist Bible this week. As well as being an excellent player, she is a great leader and teammate. She averaged 17 points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals last season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='635329' first='Kenzie' last='Cheek'] (Skyline): A 2025 guard who returns after earning All-State honors last season, when she led Skyline to a berth in the Final Four. She averaged 13 points and six rebounds a game as a sophomore.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='460862' first='Elsie' last='Larsen'] (Strafford): A 5'9" 2026 guard who earned Class 3 All-State honors as a freshman.
