Turner is the undisputed leader of this Burroughs team with high hopes this season. She’s a deep range shooter with deadeye focus. She makes a large volume of threes at a high percentage. The Gonzaga commit can also make others better. She averaged better than 4 APG last season. A dynamic guard who helps put a lot of points on the scoreboard. She’s clutch and lives for the big moment.
Speiser, the top ranked 2025 in Missouri, is a no brainer for this list and was an All-State selection last season. She averaged 16.5 PPG and 7.4 RPG for one of the best teams in the state. An all-around guard who has great size at 6’2. She can do everything on the perimeter. A great shooter, playmaker, and high IQ prospect. Speiser has a chance to eclipse 2000 points in her career.
The rising junior out of Smithville is ready to take her game to the next level and become a unanimous All-State player. The 6’1 forward has a functional skill-set that will translate to the next level. She can impact without the ball and spaces the floor at a high level. Excels as a spot-up shooter, energy player, and cutter where her movement skills come into play.
Highlights
Koelling has been one of the top players in the middle of the state and has made a commitment to Murray State. The 6’1 forward is a three-level player who rebounds at a high clip and makes all the little plays throughout the course of a game. She’ll be the top player and a leader for Helias this season. She has a chance to raise her stock further with a great senior campaign.
Scott has good size as a 6’3 forward. She’s comfortable with her back to the basket and can make plays for teammates. While she’s a strong inside scorer, Scott can also step outside and make shots. Carl Junction was outstanding last season and will look to have similar success on the back of Scott’s talents in 2023-2024.
