After leading the Cougars to a state runner-up finish in the Class 5 state tournament, she had a big summer season with All-Iowa Attack’s 17U Nike EYBL team. As a junior, she averaged 22.9 points and 9.6 rebounds while knocking down 98 3-pointers. The senior sharpshooter has given a commitment to Kansas State.

When I saw Jordan Speiser compete last year at this event, it was evident that she could shoot the leather off of the basketball and that certainly hasn’t changed up until this point. Speiser put up a clinic this weekend on the offensive end of the floor with her shooting ability and finishing ability at the hoop. In one contest she had 40 points on 10-14 shooting from three point land, while helping her team stage a 14 point comeback and that is just one example of what she can really do. Speiser is the #20th ranked prospect in the country by ESPNW and she has played like it all AAU season. I’m not sure where she will end up when her college career comes about but whoever is getting her, is getting someone who could change a program in a lot of positive ways at the next level.

Jordan Speiser Jordan Speiser 6'2" | SG Lutheran-St. Peters | 2025 State MO has been with this program for two years now and when I saw her compete at Nike Nationals last season, she was killing it in every aspect of the game. Speiser is the Forward or Post presence of this group but she is also skilled enough to step out and knock down jumpers from well-beyond the three point line. Speiser stands at around 6’1-6’2, she has muscle mass to pair along with her size, and she is physically dominant. She isn’t afraid to screen and mix it up with bigger players or she can move around the perimeter and handle her own against some smaller guards on either side of the ball. Last year Speiser was a big “it” factor for this group and that will be the same this Spring/Summer. When they play bigger opponents, she is going to have to step up and if she can do that, they are going to kill whoever they are matching up in that moment of time.
