Cooks gave me my first real look at her during game situation, I previously caught her at the HCU Camp a few months ago. She’s a “long and athletic” guard and her “on the ball” pressure helped create turnovers yet another dimension was shown offensively as her crossover in transition left the defender standing numerous times and watching her attack the basket and finish after contact, very nice body control, was really nice
Madison Cunningham
Madison Cunningham
Cunningham was intriguing to say the least as she gets the #THROWBACK hashtag for multiple reasons. First off, she goes AFTA everything off the rim as well as on the floor and by her understanding positioning, she was able to not only outrebound taller players but score on putbacks against them as well. Some of that is because she’s also a “long and athletic ” guard yet most of it is because of her DESIRE and MINDSET

Jackson is also long and athletic, I can’t overemphasize how important that is because many next level programs love that profile. She’s explosive off the dribble, has nice body control and showed she could drop the pull-up jumper yet she also showed she could rebound and go coast to coast to either score or dish and her court vision in transition is very nice. She also did a good job defending “on the ball” and played the passing lane
Ke’lia Smith
Ke’lia Smith
Smith has something that makes her game promising when you factor in she’s only a freshman and that’s upside. Her potential at this stage is solid because she’s an athletic guard that understands how to use her athleticism on both ends of the court. She attacked the basket from multiple angles but she also showed she could defend strongly. On top of that, she plays the passing lane and handles the ball afterward
Tralice Satberry

Satberry falls into a group I gave a hashtag to over 15 years ago and that’s #sizedontmatter because she can play. I enjoyed watching her create her shot, as well as handle the ball under pressure and she not only saw the floor, she did a good job attacking the basket as well as getting her shot off, with a hand in her face. She even showed the step-back
Evelyn Carr
Evelyn Carr
Carr did a good job driving past the speed limit yet one more time, she’s long and athletic guard with a deceptive first step. That in itself helped her to get by the defender yet she also showed she could create her shot under pressure and knock it down in the set. She also showed the pull-up jumper in transition and saw the floor

Breedlove was another athletic guard that impressed me and her energy and “never takes a play off” gets her that #THROWBACK hashtag. When you consistently apply heat, good things will happen and her defense at times was smothering yet she also did a good job playing the passing lane, something I absolutely love to see. She attacked the basket strongly and finished after the lick
