Michigan is a hotbed for high school girls basketball talent, so they’re are some great additions to the rankings this time around. Let’s take a look at some the new additions for the class of 2025.
Wierenga is a great addition to the prospect rankings. She’s being actively recruited with recent offers from the likes of Hope and Alma. Wierenga can work very well on the block with her back to the basket and is very effective finishing over her left shoulder. She can also step out and hit mid range jumpers from the free throw line and the baseline.
Dimitrijevich earned her spot on the list, having her breakout moment in front of scouts at the PGH Michigan Top 250. She does a great job letting her defense and rebounding dictate her game. Dimitrijevich is relentless on the glass and really limits an opponents possessions. She’s an excellent all around defender that sees the game 1 step ahead of the action and causes turnovers with that vision and her quick hands.

Cooley is another player that used the PGH Top 250 as a tool for long term exposure, earning her way on the prospect rankings. She’s a much improved and rapidly improving prospect that we should all have an eye on through this high school season. Cooley is an excellent ball handler that dribbles aggressively while keeping the ball protected. She’s definitely a plus passer as well, getting the ball to where it needs to be in an efficient manner.

I recently saw Sheldon at an MSF Train and Play, and after the way she performed, she had to be on the list of ranked prospects. Skills aside, this young lady can have an influence on the game with her energy alone. Sheldon can put a ton of pressure on the opponents defense just by beating them down the floor. She’s consistently 1 of the first back on the defensive end, limiting the other team’s chance at easy transition looks.
Fannon is a player that has caught the eye of some scouts and is a quality addition to the prospect rankings for the class of 2025. I really like her upside as a player and prospect. Fannon is a very dangerous shooter that can get hot from behind the arc. She’s a very good defender as well. Fannon uses her wingspan to get deflections and steals in the passing lanes and can read an opponent and block their shot.
