Fall leagues, showcases, and individual camps bridged the gap, but winter basketball is what everyone is eager to watch! In the Flint Metro League, some stars shoot across the court: here are a few returners who will be burning bright!
2024 Wing Savannah Fellenbaum earned All-League First team and BCAM’s BEST honorable mention as a junior for Lake Fenton. Savannah is a dynamic inside out prospect who has the motor to match up against guards and the size to control the paint. She is a deadly outside shooter who can get to the rack and finish efficiently. Savannah will have the opportunity to step into the lead role at Lake Fenton this season with the Smith sisters moving on.

earned All-League First team and BCAM’s BEST All-State honors her junior year at Ortonville Brandon. Riley sets the standard of hard work and determination that has led to multiple college offers this off-season. She demands multiple defenders to slow down her penetration drives and she has the offensive ability to score from anywhere on the floor, contested or not. Riley has the physical strength and focus to lead her team down a successful path this season.

is going to be a breakout performer in the Metro this winter. She earned honorable mention as a freshman for Goodrich. Sh has consistently performed at a high level against top guards all off-season. Her quickness, vision, and ability to score effectively from anywhere on the court will make her one of the best guards to watch this winter.
Owosso’s 2026 PG Danica Dwyer Danica Dwyer 5’6″ | PG Owosso | 2026 State MI earned All-League Second team as a freshman. She has excellent control off the catch to use a spin dribble and beat her defender to the paint. Danica has great balance to finish contested at the rim or go into a pull up jumper. She is a deadly accurate perimeter shooter who will pull up anytime you give her space. Danica is an outstanding court general to watch play for Owosso this winter.
2025 Ellie Neuhaus is a tremendous Power Forward for Clio. She earned All-League Second team honors as a sophomore and has continued to display her skills this fall. Ellie is one of the best interior defenders with her length, strength, and body control. She reacts to passes well and makes interior players uncomfortable with her positioning. Ellie scores effectively around the rim and will extend herself to the high post and create matchup challenges for opponents. She is a skilled post prospect to watch this winter.
