Showcases and fall leagues gave us a sneak peek into who could be top performers for their teams this winter. In this preview edition, we turn our attention to prospects you don’t want to miss competing in the Oakland Activities Association White Division.
2024 Wing Emilee Austin Emilee Austin 5’9″ | SF Royal Oak | 2024 State MI is a sharpshooter who can light it up from beyond the arc. She has the length and off-ball awareness to create space and knock down open shots. Emilee puts herself in position for put backs inside; she pushes the ball up the floor comfortably with both hands. She shoots accurately off the dribble and finishes contested drives to the rim. Emilee will be an important piece for the Ravens this winter.

2024 Wing Asiyah Jihad Asiyah Jihad 5’11” | PF North Farmington | 2024 State MI will take a giant leap forward for North Farmington this season. As one of the few contributors from last season, Asiyah will be an essential leader for the Raiders this season. She is a pure perimeter shooter with the length and quickness to beat her defender to the basket. Asiyah tracks the ball like a hawk in the press and is a threat to score in transition on all defensive rebounds. She will be a prospect to watch in the OAA White this winter.

Oxford’s 2025 SG Allison Hufstedler Allison Hufstedler 5’8″ | SF Oxford | 2025 State MI has shot up the rankings this off-season. Her complete game put her on the map with scouts and coaches at the next level. She has a relentless motor to secure offensive and defensive rebounds; she is a lock down defender. Allison scores at multiple levels off the dribble or catch from mid and 3-point range. She uses sweeps and jabs to drive downhill and make contested layups or get herself on the free throw line. Oxford performed well this summer as a team and Allison will be essential for the Wildcats this season.

2026 SG Faith Zoldos Faith Zoldos 5’9″ | SG Rochester Adams | 2026 State MI is a bright spot on a rebuilding Rochester Adams team. She has gone from an unknown and unranked prospect to a rising star during the off-season. Her outstanding performances at college camps, PGH Top 250 Expo, and Upside have made her a target prospect for college coaches. Her electric drives and shifty ball handling make her an exciting prospect to watch. Faith uses her length and acceleration to cause turnovers on defense and her explosive speed creates transition points for her team. Faith has the work ethic, humility, competitive fire, and athleticism the Highlanders need to turn the tide for their program.
