Sarah Gordon Sarah Gordon 5’11” | PF Vestavia Hills | 2025 State AL went for 42 points and 8 boards in her first time out this season. Gordon completely dominated the game in every aspect, and was an unstoppable force offensively. Gordon scored 42 of Vestavia’s 72 points. Gordon will be the main feature on what is a loaded Vestavia team.
Highlights
Jill Gaylard Jill Gaylard 5’4″ | PG Vestavia Hills | 2025 State AL looked solid in her first outing. Gaylord didn’t stand out, largely because her teammate Sarah dropped 42, but she had a solid game. Gaylard finished with 13 points and 6 boards. Gaylard will be a pivotal part of this Vestavia team, as she as a crafty, and skilled basketball player.
Hayley Trotter performed just as you’d expect one of the consensus best players in the state to perform. Trotter finished with 14 points and 8 boards, but had an even bigger impact than the stats would show. Trotter was in full control of the game and wasn’t required to do too much as her Chelsea Hornets won in blowout fashion.

Mira McCool
Mira McCool carried most of the load for her team. McCool finished with 13 points 5 boards and 3 blocks. Mira had almost half of her teams points as they only finished with 28 total, but McCool show flashes of being a absolute force down in the paint.
