Playmakers are kids, that when all else fails, can make something happen, and put the defense at a defensive advantage that leads to a high percentage shot. All great teams need playmakers. Let’s look at the best playmaking ’25s in the state.
Kendall is a really good prospect for coaches. She key contributor for the Bearden team that played in the state tournament and went 35-1. She was named All-District and All-Region. She can bring anything to the table that a team needs. A diverse guard that can fill almost any role. Fast on her feet and very scrappy on defense. She will run the floor very hard and finish through contact. Dives after loose balls, doesn’t care to do the dirty work. Also knocks down the 3pt shot very consistently. Could have a breakout Jr season for Bearden.

Green is a 5’11 do-it-all wing. Super diverse skill set. Is a capable outside shooter, but can also put in the floor and attack the rim. Doesn’t shy away from contact. Will finish through a defenders chest. Really active defender that makes her presence known with her length. Lots of potential in this kid as a college prospect.
A 5’9 wing that can play inside or outside. She’s more suited for the post, and has the whole bag of post moves and footwork. Really nice HS post, but needs to expand her game for the collegiate level. Beginning to step away from the rim and show a nice face up game from 15ft. Really skilled kid with high IQ. Love her upside to get better. Not really a “wing” yet, but I think she has the potential to be.
Really high IQ wing for Father Ryan. Scrappy defender with a high motor. Makes winning players and contributes in multiple areas statistically. Nice 3pt shooter. Doesn’t force the issue and let’s the game come to her. Nice potential as a 3 and D wing.
A kid who had a great summer for TFT ’25. (Heifner). Really stood out as a player that can consistently get buckets. Diverse scorer that can really fill it up. She’s also a guard that will contribute on the glass. Competes hard defensively. Really well rounded player. Love her game.
Led TFT ’25 (Heifner) in scoring this summer, and flew up the rankings. Knows how to use her length around the rim with a crafty finishing package. Has a nice floater. Can shoot the 3 at consistent %. Has turned herself into a 3 level scorer that also rebounds and defends. College coaches are on this girl.
